Japanese Electronics Giant, SANYO Electric Co., Ltd had registered LA4440 as a Trademark in India. LA4440 is an audio amplifier integrated circuit used for high quality audio visual systems SANYO has taken this strict action in view to save its customer interest who are facing quality problems by using the counterfeit LA4440 ICs unknowingly. This is also hindering the brand image of SANYO.
Registering the Trademark will legally restrict the retailing of SANYO counterfeit LA4440 IC in India. According to internal sources SANYO is initiating to take strong action to protect the interest of its customers.
